TRAINING DESCRIPTION
This training has been designed for people working in, or preparing to work in, the wind energy sector. The programme focuses on real technical situations, hazards encountered while working on wind turbines, and correct decision-making in an industrial environment.
This is an online training course delivered in an e-learning format. The programme is theoretical and scenario-based.
During the training, participants analyse realistic scenarios related to the work of wind turbine technicians, identify organisational and technical errors, recognise hazards, and learn the correct sequence of actions in accordance with occupational safety principles.
The training focuses primarily on the practical application of knowledge, rather than theory alone. Participants learn how to:
- identify technical and organisational hazards,
- communicate correctly within a technical team,
- assess risk before starting work,
- respond properly to emergency situations,
- identify unsafe behaviours and procedural errors,
- apply safety rules used in the wind energy industry.
The material has been developed based on the realities of the work performed by service, installation, and maintenance technicians in the wind energy sector. The training may serve as an element of preparation for work in the offshore wind industry, support the onboarding of new technicians, or complement the competencies of people who already have technical experience.
The training programme has been prepared by practitioners connected with the wind energy industry and is based on real experience of working on wind turbines.
At the end of the training, the participant takes a final test consisting of 20 questions. To pass the training, the participant must achieve a minimum score of 80% correct answers.
After completing the online training and successfully passing the final test, the participant receives a certificate of completion confirming that they have completed the training. On this basis, they may then obtain the LOTO training completion certificate either at our office or by post to the address provided.
