The objective of this course is to able to assess 4 leg jackup stability while afloat , to be familiar with 4 leg jackup elevated operation and emergency respond at normal and storm survival condition
Delivery: 30% classroom – 70% motion and manoeuvring simulator

4 leg Jackup afloat – Hydrostatic parameters
4 Leg Jackup afloat – Metacentre, free surface , suspended weights, heeling and trimming moments
4 Leg Jackup Afloat – windage area and stability criteria calculation
4 Leg Jackup Afloat – planning heavy lifting operation – load up
4 Leg Jackup Afloat – stability assessment and damage control
4 Leg Jackup Afloat – stability calculation
4 Leg Jackup Elevated – Equipment
4 Leg Jackup Elevated – Specific Site Assessment, punch through
4 Leg Jackup Elevated – RPD
4 Leg Jackup Elevated – Elevated Operation
4 Leg Jackup Elevated – Elevating the hull , Lowering the hull
4 Leg Jackup Elevated – Preload procedure
Practical Exercise– Heavy lifting operation ( 800ton)
Practical Exercise– Approach, Elevating the hull and preloading operation
Practical Exercise – Harsh weather operation and lowering the hull
Practical Exercise – Lowering hull operation , preparation for transit
Practical Exercise- Maneuvering 4 Leg Jackup vessel to approach wind turbine location
Practicing initial reaction to unexpected punch through
Practicing emergency response to other jackup unscheduled events during normal and storm survival operations i.e. leaking valves , broke down pumps, blackouts, unexpected inclinations.

Certification
Course certificate is valid for FIVE years.
Completion of this course make participants eligible to apply for international BCO Certificate issued by The Nautical Institute.
