Safe entry and work in low-risk confined spaces

The Confined Space Low Risk training prepares participants to safely perform work in confined spaces where hazardous atmospheres or additional technological risks are not expected to occur.

During the training, participants will learn the principles of hazard identification, risk assessment, preparation of Permit to Work documentation, and conducting atmospheric testing prior to entering a confined space. Special emphasis is placed on proper workstation organization, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and effective communication between the worker (entrant) and the safety watch (attendant).

The practical section involves preparing the workstation, safely entering the confined space, performing basic work activities, and evacuating a casualty using non-entry rescue techniques, without the need for the rescuer to enter the hazardous space.

Training Scope:

• Hazard identification and risk assessment

• Permit to Work procedures

• Evacuation using rescue systems

• Basic first aid

Duration: 7 hours (3 hours of theory + 4 hours of practical training)
