Offshore Crane Operator – Advanced Level 2 Training

Course Description

This course is to provide more advance theoretical and practical knowledge including crane emergencies and failures for participants with who completed Introductory Stage 1 Crane Operator Training.

This course aims for participants to identify key elements of relevant legislation. To recognize different types of  cranes. To know the roles of crane operator. To understand hazards associated with crane operation on floating units. To be able to implement safe work environment during crane operation. To be able to create and follow lifting plan. To react correctly to typical offshore crane failures.

After successful passing three part assessment process where third part is the test student will be awarded with course completion certificate. Minimum test passing score grade is 80%.
