Course Description:
The GWO's "Working at Heights" course is a foundational program for wind turbine technicians, focusing on ensuring safety while working at elevated heights. Trainees will be educated about height safety regulations, get acquainted with diverse personal protective gear, and learn the correct application of fall prevention equipment.
The course offers a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, enabling participants to hone their skills through realistic exercises. It aims to enhance the safety standards in the wind turbine sector by teaching effective evacuation and rescue methods, and by reducing the risks associated with working at elevated positions.
Included in the basic safety training package, the course encompasses:
Proper usage and upkeep of personal protective and rescue gear,
Legal stipulations for workplace safety,
Norms for fall prevention and vertical safety measures,
Hands-on training in identifying safe working positions and employing protection and safety mechanisms,
Scenario-based simulations for advanced preparedness against potential dangers.
The "Working at Heights" course is GWO-accredited and well-respected globally. Completing this course equips wind turbine technicians with the necessary expertise to execute their roles safely.
Course Completion Certification
Upon finishing the course, participants will be awarded a certificate, endorsing their proficiency and knowledge in height safety practices.
