Course description:
The GWO Fire Awareness course, provided by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO), is designed as an introductory training in fire safety for employees in the wind energy sector or any environment prone to fire risks. The primary goal of this course is to acquaint attendees with fundamental fire safety principles and equip them with the skills to manage fire-related emergencies.
Throughout the course, participants will be introduced to essential fire safety legislation, different kinds of fire safety equipment and their usage, and appropriate responses in fire emergencies, including evacuation procedures and providing first aid to victims. A key component of the training is the simulation of real-life fire scenarios, offering participants hands-on experience to apply their learned knowledge and skills.
Course Completion
Upon the successful completion of the GWO Fire Awareness course, participants will be issued a certificate that acknowledges their newly acquired fire safety qualifications and skills. This certification plays a crucial role in ensuring readiness for safe working practices in the wind energy industry or any other setting with potential fire hazards.
