Course description:
The Boat Transfer course is an educational program centered on the safe movement between transfer vessels and wind turbines.
This course provides an in-depth understanding of the offshore wind industry's transfer processes. It includes detailed discussions on various Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV) types, highlighting the nuances between transfers from CTV to Turbine and CTV to Ship. Additionally, participants are educated on a range of safety equipment and trained to evaluate risks associated with transfers.
A significant component of the course is practical training, where attendees actively engage in different transfer techniques. This includes transitioning from a vessel to a wind installation, moving from a vessel to a lifeboat, and handling basic overboard situations. These practical exercises are crucial in equipping participants with the skills necessary for secure and efficient sea transfers.
Note: This course does not provide GWO certification in the WINDA system.
