Course description:
The Advanced Rescue Training Standard course, designed specifically for wind turbine personnel, is a comprehensive program spanning three days and encompassing four modules, each focused on developing advanced rescue skills.
Module 1 is centered on rescue techniques in the turbine's nacelle, tower, and basement. It includes an exploration of the legal aspects of rescue and evacuation along with practical exercises. Module 2 is dedicated to rescue operations within the turbine's hubs, rotors, and inside the blades, with an emphasis on teamwork during these operations.
The following two modules shift focus to individual rescue methods, tailored for various rescue scenarios. These modules stress the accurate application of rescue equipment and intervention strategies. A significant part of the training is devoted to hands-on practice of various rescue techniques, including the employment of rescue stretchers and orthopedic boards.
This course equips participants with both practical abilities and theoretical understanding of advanced rescue operations, priming them for safe response in emergency scenarios within the wind energy sector. Successfully completing the course signifies that participants have acquired specialized skills in rescue operations.
