Course description:
The GWO Medical First Aid course is specifically designed for workers in the wind industry, aiming to equip them with essential medical first aid skills for handling sudden accidents at drilling platforms or wind farms. The training's objective is to prepare attendees to efficiently handle health and life-threatening situations, providing foundational knowledge in first aid and the usage of various medical and first aid tools.
Course Content Includes:
-Techniques for administering first aid in cases of shock, heatstroke, burns, or lacerations,
-Fundamentals of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the application of defibrillators,
-Procedures for managing poisoning, head injuries, or fractures,
-Operation of medical aids like cervical collars, orthopedic handcuffs, or stretchers,
-First aid protocols for individuals with chronic conditions.
This course incorporates both theoretical knowledge and practical application, with hands-on practice using specialized simulators and manikins. Led by certified instructors with expertise in medicine and first aid, the course ensures comprehensive training.
Course Completion Certification
After completing the GWO Medical First Aid course, participants will be awarded a certificate that validates their training. This certification is a testament to the participant's understanding of first aid principles and their ability to respond effectively in life-threatening scenarios.
